Slip and Fall Injury Case Examples
It’s important to remember a premises liability cases which include slip and fall situations can happen anywhere. Also, success in one slip-and-fall case does not guarantee success in another.
School Cafeteria
We settled a case involving a school cafeteria failing to clean up spilled water on the floor after noticing the water on the floor, which caused our client, a middle school student, to slip and break her ankle. Our client required hardware implantation in her ankle including a plate and screws. She continued to have ankle swelling with activity after the surgical procedure and her treatment were finished.
Attack at Bar
We represented the family of a man who was attacked at a bar and suffered serious brain injuries when his head hit a cement floor at the bar. The case involved the bar not providing security to prevent the attack.
Grocery Store
We represented a woman who was shopping at a grocery establishment when she stepped on a folded box causing her to slip, fall and tear a rotator cuff, requiring surgery. The folded box was placed on the floor by a store employee and hidden from our client as she rounded a corner of a bin.
