Joe’s Case
“Joe” was a passenger on a motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of the motorcycle. Joe experienced multiple injuries as a result of the crash, which required hospitalization and medical treatments. The insurance company would not pay a fair settlement before trial in Joe’s case. Joe said “No” to the unfair offer and told us to take his case to trial.
We agreed with Joe and were happy to try his case (we like trying cases if we have to). The result of the trial? Joe won double the amount that the insurance company originally offered him…and it was a big insurance company. Now, that big insurance company knows we will stand up for our clients in their case, even if it means taking the case to trial.
Johnny’s Case
“Johnny,” our littlest client, was not yet born when the fetal monitoring strips showed he was in distress. During labor, Johnny was not receiving enough oxygen, and it injured his brain. However, the doctors and nurses weren’t paying attention. After he suffered a brain injury, Johnny was delivered. But it was too late. He now suffers from cerebral palsy and is disabled. We fought for Johnny and his parents in this medical malpractice birth injury case so that Johnny could have the best quality of life possible, even though his little brain was injured through no fault of his own. We reached a confidential settlement for Johnny and his family.
After our case was over, nurses and doctors were re-trained at this hospital so that no other baby would suffer a brain injury during labor and delivery.
Susan’s Case
“Susan” was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother–truly the matriarch of her large family. One day, on the way home from work, an unlicensed driver ran a stop sign and hit Susan’s car at her door. The impact caused her car to flip and Susan was partially ejected. She did not survive the crash.
