The Kia Telluride recall, “park outside,” applies to models from 2020-2024 and impacts more than 400,000 vehicles.

The issue with Kia Telluride involves the driver’s side seat. The front power seat motor can overheat, starting a fire, which could result in a serious burn injury.

Owners will begin receiving mail notification of the Kia Telluride recall on July 30. However, you don’t need to wait to discover if your vehicle is under recall. Kia vehicle owners can also visit NHTSA.gov/recalls or call NHTSA’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 and enter their license plate number or 17-digit vehicle identification number to determine eligibility.
