Greenville SC car accidents claimed lives over the weekend of August 23-August 25th, 2014.  According to media reports, a single car accident on Pelham Road near Cameron Road claimed the life of the driver of the vehicle who was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The vehicle was a 2014 BMW 328. The Greenville County Coroner informed media outlets that the driver of the vehicle was 25 year-old Ashley Monique Campbell of Greer, SC.  Media reports state that troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the vehicle went off the road and collided with some small trees before overturning.

Another Greenville SC car accident claimed the life of another person on Sunday August 24, 2014.  According to media reports, a 21 year-old man from Greer SC was killed in a single vehicle accident in Greer at the intersection of South Main and Pelham Streets in Greer SC. Media outlets are reporting that the victim was 21 year-old Cory Metcalf. According to news reports, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the car accident.

Anytime a life is lost in a car wreck it is a tragedy, especially when the deceased is a young person with his or her entire life before them.
